dc.descriptionFAO China ECTAD Highlights - March 2018 - FAO China ECTAD attendance at the regional workshop on legislation and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)/Antimicrobial Usage (AMU) in Bangkok, Thailand from 12-13 March 2018. The key objectives of the workshop were to discuss potential options for addressing AMR in a comprehensive manner in national legislation; to discuss multiple regulatory areas that may have an impact on AMR; and to discuss regulatory issues and options to address AMR and AMU. - FAO China ECTAD attendance at the 12th Annual Regional ECTAD Meeting in Chiang Mai from 21-23 March 2018. The main objectives of the meeting were to review progress, achievements, lessons learnt and challenges faced in implementing country programs, to discuss priority focus areas for work, to outline plans for 2018-2019 and how to achieve expected targets; and to identify priority aligenment and define interest in resource partnership.
