| dc.description | COVID-19 is a global health crisis that has caused a shock to food and agricultural systems around the world, affecting production, supply chains, trade, markets, and people’s livelihoods and nutrition. This second assessment provides an invaluable and wide-ranging analysis that underlines the scale and scope of COVID-19’s impact on food and agriculture in Bangladesh. It is based on qualitative data collected during May and June 2020. The analysis determined that the entire food supply chain was hampered by the COVID-19 lockdown and resulting economic crisis that occurred from mid-March to May.
