The Government of Ukraine has expressed its commitmentto improving the health and nutrition of its population throughthe endorsement and implementation of the “Strategy forAgriculture and Rural Development 2016-2020” (the Strategy).The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food (MAPF) needed tostrengthen its technical and policy capacities for implementingthe priorities identified under the Strategy and its Action Plan.Against this background, the project aimed to contribute tothe coordination and implementation of the Strategy, andto support the established secretariat supervised by MAPFand the European Union (EU).
