This document is a report of the Third Meeting of the Advisory Committee of the Bay of Bengal Programme (Development of Small-Scale Fisheries in the Bay of Bengal). The meeting was hosted by the Government of Bangladesh and held in Chittagong, Bangladesh from November 7 to 10, 1978. The report records the deliberations and conclusions of the meeting and was approved by the committee. It also records the progress made by the Programme since the second meeting of the Advisory Committee in June 1 977 and discussions on the outlines of future work.
