dc.descriptionThe forum, organized by the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Agency for Aceh and Nias (BRR), focused on the rehabilitation, reconstruction and development work carried out in Aceh and Nias since the tsunami four years ago, as well as on lessons learned. BRR closed down in April 2009 and the forum was the organisation's last big showcase. An exhibition formed part of the event; FAO and other agencies of the UN family joined together to host a combined booth. FAO display ed highlights of its 28 post-tsunami projects, funded by various donors, in the sectors of agriculture, forestry, food security, livestock and fisheries, and with a total value of more than USD 35 million.
