This executive brief presents key findings and priority actions from FAO's study on acute malnutrition among Indigenous Peoples in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It highlights extremely high malnutrition rates among Indigenous children and women, driven by structural inequalities in access to land, forests and other natural resources, and calls for inclusive, rights-based and culturally grounded responses.
