The aim of the analysis was to present conditions and relationships which shape remuneration of labor in
agriculture, taking into account human capital. Understanding these relationships is crucial for the income of
agricultural producers. An analytical approach with elements of empirical verification was used, the reasoning
is carried out in the microeconomic convention. On the basis of a preliminary empirical verification, it was
found that in Poland labor forces, salaried within the agricultural production, decreased substantially. This
may indicate the increasing use of labor resources in rural areas beyond agricultural production.
