| dc.description | Civil insecurity restricts access to agricultural land, while high and volatile prices impede food access. The current very high and severe food insecurity is expected to deteriorate further in the long term. WFP warns that a funding gap will hamper its food aid operations in the coming months. The UN peacekeeping mission will withdraw from the country by December 2010, leaving the Government to handle the security and humanitarian situation. | |
