This document is designed as a support tool for decision makers (e.g. regional authorities) for developing a sustainable bamboo forest management plan in BGRS. The document also explores ways to link bamboo production to the market and the private sector. The document aims to help identify key challenges and opportunities to the sustainable management of bamboo forest in Benishangul-Gumuz Regional State (BGRS).
