dc.descriptionThe meeting on ‘Defining and Refining Good Practice in Ex-post Impact Assessment’ was jointly planned and organized by the impact assessment focal points (IAFPs) of the international centers and the Challenge Programs, and the Standing Panel on Impact Assessment (SPIA) as a follow up to a similar meeting held in Nairobi in 2006. The objectives of the meeting were to: 1. Foster communication among CGIAR centers on ex-post impact assessment. 2. Contribute to a community of practitioners to sha re knowledge on impact assessment of international agricultural research. 3. Receive feedback on SPIA ongoing activities. 4. Make recommendations on future priorities for system level impact activities by SPIA or for joint impact assessments across centers.
