dc.descriptionThe Third Session of the EIFAC Working Party on Stocking took place from 15 to 19 November 1993, Thonon, France. The Session was attended by 11 participants, of which 10 were from EIFAC member countries, and one participant from the Russian Federation. The Session finalized the draft manuscript of Guidelines on Stocking of Coregonids, which is produced as EIFAC Occasional Paper No. 28. An appraisal of the Questionnaire on objectives and effects of stocking practices have demonstrated the widespr ead importance of stocking as a fishery activity in EIFAC member countries, with a total of 32 species stocked in 15 countries.
