dc.descriptionThe annual report of the FAO Ethics Office gives a detailed overview of activities undertaken in 2021 and the results achieved, under the Ethics Office's mandate to promote high standards of ethical conduct, integrity, transparency and accountability at FAO, in line with the Standards of Conduct for the International Civil Service. The Ethics Office has a pivotal role in the Organization in terms of providing advice and guidance on conflicts of interests and outside activities, as well as in undertaking prima facie reviews of retaliation allegations, pursuant to the Organization’s Whistleblower Protection Policy. The report also provides a detailed overview of the training and outreach activities undertaken to raise awareness across the Organization about ethics and integrity.
