FAO implements various projects in many areas in Uzbekistan, from sustainable management of forests to desert initiatives. The Newsletter covers the period from January to April 2021, when significant events took place such as adoption of the FAO-Uzbekistan Country Programming Framework for 2021-2025. The Newsletter also highlights challenges and opportunities for gender mainstreaming in the project cycle of FAO in Uzbekistan. Sharing this experience with both our local and international partners as well as with general public is of great importance for shaping future projects.
