The aim of the present study was to make the diagnosis of socioeconomic characteristics of farmers Iporá and surrounding municipalities in Goiás (Amorinópolis, Diorama, Israelândia, Ivolândia and Jaupaci) through a structured modular questionnaire. Secondarily, we aimed to propose some alternatives that can strengthen the economy of these producers and the consequent improvement of their social conditions.
