COP30 in Belém delivered mixed outcomes amid political tensions and procedural constraints. While several negotiation tracks stalled, progress emerged on adaptation, land restoration, and implementation, including the adoption of the Belém Adaptation Indicators and new finance initiatives for forests and degraded lands.
