This publication is the report of the 2008 session of the Joint European Inland Fisheries Advisory Commission (EIFAC) and International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) Working Group on Eels which was held in Leuven, Belgium, from 3 to 9 September 2008. The Working Group would like to acknowledge ICES for undertaking the editing and formatting of this publication and FAO for the printing and distribution of hard copies.
