Resumen
Descripción
CGIAR programmes generate a substantial volume of research outputs on food security, nutrition, and food environments, yet these outputs are dispersed across multiple institutional repositories with differing metadata standards, field names, and controlled vocabularies. This fragmentation hinders synthesis, portfolio-level analysis, and alignment with global monitoring frameworks. To address this gap, we programmatically harvested metadata records matching our search parameters from six CGIAR repositories covering the period 2012 to 2024. Records from all six sources were merged and deduplicated, filtered to remove non-research items, and enriched with metadata from Crossref, Unpaywall, and OpenAlex. The resulting dataset contains 15,896 unique records, each with provenance tracking to the originating repository. This dataset supports secondary analyses of CGIAR’s thematic coverage over time and geography, enables the extraction of indicators for food and nutrition security research, and provides a reusable pipeline that can be extended to future harvests as repositories evolve.
