The Multipartner Programme Support Mechanism (FMM) of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is an innovative fund for partners willing to contribute to FAO’s work through unearmarked or slightly earmarked funds. The funds are used strategically to support progress towards a world without hunger or poverty, and where natural resources are used sustainably. The brochure is intended as a communication and advocacy tool for the FMM with the wider objective of increasing v isibility and support for the FMM both internally and externally, in particular among resource partners. The brochure will draw information on results achieved by projects supported by the FMM since 2011. FMM funded activities contribute to FAO’s delivery of its Programme of Work and Budget. During the 2014-2015 biennium, FMM projects contributed to 8 FAO outcomes under the first four Strategic Objectives.
