This report is a product of the World
Bank's monitoring efforts in Myanmar and provides an
in-depth look at the country’s agricultural sector and food
security status. This study examines intertwined challenges,
falling crop yields, escalating food costs, deteriorating

dynamics among farmers. In doing so, this analysis aims to
