Descripción
Presents a paper on the role of on-farm research in the Development of alley farming. Discusses the properties of alley-farming as a system and their implications for the conduct of on farm work. Reviews the on-farm work on alley farming undertaken by the Humid Zone Programme of ILCA. Ends with a presentation on the appropriate methods for the evaluation of alley farms on farmers' fields.
