dc.descriptionThe number of financial crises has been growing in the world according to the International Monetary Fund. The recent global financial crisis caused a considerable slowdown in many countries in the world. The results have included the collapse of housing prices, massive unemployment, and the spread of distress throughout financial markets and economies around the globe. The economic slowdown hit the agricultural sector as well. The purpose of the presented article is to evaluate the impacts of the global economic and financial crisis on the agri-food sector and to present solutions for the existing problems.
