dc.descriptionLa creación de una posible ruta ecoturística vinculada al Corredor Biológico Mesoamericano puede suponer una nueva fuente de ingresos que potencie el desarrollo rural y la conservación de espacios naturales. La ruta propuesta fluye a través de espacios naturales y culturales de la vertiente pacífica siguiendo la carretera panamericana. En la frontera entre Nicaragua y Honduras existe un vacío que no cuenta con atractivos turísticos. Para subsanarlo, se propone la creación de un parque binacional para la paz en las áreas de pinar y bosque nublado, aún bien conservadas en dicha zona además se potencia la conservación del Golfo de Fonseca.
dc.descriptionA new ecotourist route related to the Mesoamerican Corridor means a source of income to promote rural development and conservation of natural environments. The proposed route runs through natural and cultural environments along the Central American Pacific coast, having the Inter-American Highway as its central axis. In the Nicaraguan-Honduran border there is a gap with no attractions for tourism. The creation of a binational park comprising pine and cloudy forests well-preserved in this region is proposed to overcome that problem. The conservation of Fonseca Gulf will also be improved with the binational park.
