dc.descriptionMuch of the on and off farm irrigation infrastructure in the LMRIA requires updating and replacement if irrigators are to operate profitability under new water allocations and drainage requirements. A desktop study for assessing a broad range of options for rehabilitating the LMRIA were conducted using both Benefit-Cost Analysis and Multi Criteria Analysis. Other tools used in the assessment included a water trade model developed by DNRE and Input-output Analysis.
