The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources (MINAGR), launched the Hand in Hand initiative projects, “Support to Strengthening the Egg Production Subsector and effectively fighting malnutrition and stunting in Rwanda.”The project aims to elevate rural youth and women from low-yield, subsistence poultry keeping to profitable,commercially oriented egg enterprises.
