Investigations of the ecology and biology of the fish fauna in lower-order Sepik and Ramu streams started in January 1988 as a sub project of the Sepik River Fish Stock Enhancement Project (PNG/85/001-09) with a sampling program that extended to mid-1989. This report presents the sampling and research methods used and contains descriptions of the sample sites.
