dc.descriptionFrom the perspective of human resources development and regional economic cooperation, this paper expounds the basic conditions for socio-economic transformation and development in underdeveloped rural areas, and the ways to acquire basic human capital. On the basis of this, this paper further analyses the regional competitiveness difference arising from human capital difference, and proposes that we should solve this problem through sufficient supply of rural compulsory education.
