The Alliance Against Hunger and Malnutrition (AAHM) was created as the International Alliance Against Hunger (IAAH) on the recommendation of the World Food Summit in 2003 by FAO and three other Rome-based agencies – IFAD, WFP and Bioversity International. A global partnership, the Alliance brings together local, national and international institutions experts and advocates with the aim of promoting national and regional-level policy dialogue in the fight against hunger. Since its inception, th e Alliance has facilitated establishment of National and Regional Alliances throughout the world
