Esta nota tiene como objetivo dar a conocer los principales temas que se discutieron durante la Septuagésima Octava Reunión Ordinaria del Comité de Agricultura de la Organización Mundial del Comercio (OMC), en la cual el Instituto Interamericano de Cooperación para la Agricultura (IICA) participó como Miembro Observador.
En este documento se pretende dar a conocer el estado actual (a setiembre del 2015) en que se encuentra el cumplimiento de los países de las Américas en materia de notificaciones agrícolas. A continuación, se detallan los principales temas tratados durante esta Reunión.
The purpose of this technical note is to report on the main topics discussed at the Seventy-eighth Regular Meeting of the Committee on Agriculture of the World Trade Organization (WTO), in which the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) participated as an Observer Member. This document reports on the current compliance level (up until September 2015) of countries in the Americas with regards to their agricultural notification obligations. The main topics discussed at the meeting are detailed below.
