Descripción
The Natural Wood Skin design uses a system of modular wooden extensions to create more space for crowded residents. The highly adaptable solution can be used to construct buildings of different sizes from various types of wood in a number of climatic conditions.</p> This poster is one of a selection of entries from the TREEHOUSING International Wood Design Competition that was run by FAO and DBR | Design Build Research School on the occasion of the XIV World Forestry Congress in Durban, South Af rica, in September 2015.The competition challenged architecture students, professional architects and designers to develop innovative and sustainable wood housing and urban building solutions.
