Shiny RIMA is a web-based tool designed to simplify the estimation of resilience capacity without compromising the scientific rigour of the Resilience Index Measurement and Analysis (RIMA). This technical manual will guide the user in cleaning and preparing their dataset for a successful analysis on the Shiny RIMA tool. In this manual, we provide examples based on Microsoft Excel but it is possible to use any other software allowing data cleaning (Stata, R, SPSS, etc.). This manual is designed and developed for monitoring and evaluation officers, evaluators, government officials, researchers and other operators without an advanced background in econometrics and statistical tools (such as Stata).
