dc.descriptionFISH4ACP, an initiative of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (OACPS) that aims to improves the economic, social and environmental sustainability of fisheries and aquaculture value chains in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific, supports Nigeria’s efforts to boost the catfish sector because of its potential to create jobs and business opportunities, in particular for women and youth. FISH4CP is implemented by FAO with funding from the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
