This is the Executive Summary of the publication “Dare to Understand and Measure (DaTUM): A literature review of M&E frameworks for agriculture and climate change,” which reviewed existing agriculture-specific and non-agriculture-specific M&E frameworks. This document summarizes the status of indicator development and M&E systems for climate-smart agriculture, the key strengths and limitations of the frameworks reviewed, and the challenges to conducting M&E.
