The paper aimed to analyze correlative relationship between economic infrastructure development and
entrepreneurship indicators in rural areas of Wielkopolska province, county level, in 2004-2012. Spearman’s
rank correlation coefficient was used to determine correlations between entrepreneurship indicators and the
synthetic index of development built on a modified positional approach Hellwig’s reference method applied
to absolute increments of economic infrastructure indicators. Statistically significant impact of economic
infrastructure development on entrepreneurship in rural areas of Wielkopolska was found in 2004-2012.
