Descripción
A list is given of the numerous species found in grasslands in Costa Rica. They constitute from 5 to 25 percent of the forage produced in some of the better pastures Attention is called to the probable use fulness of the widespread species Desmodium barbatum (L) Benth. Suggestions are made about lines of study on these plants.
