This pocketbook aims at raising awareness on Ugani Kiganjani to all its potential beneficiaries in the food and agriculture sector, that involve a wide range of stakeholders, from simple farmers to extension services in the field, representatives of the private and public sectors, academics, media, general audience. It is important to have multipliers of these messages, consisting of experts and representatives of the national authorities involved in food and agriculture trained on the app and ready to disseminate their knoweldge to the farmers and various stakeholders in the field so that they will be aware of its benefits in their daily lives and willing to download it and use it, to improve their production, consumption and therefore their livelihoods.
This publication aims at helping these extension services to present it as an attractive solution for all stakeholders involved in the agriculture and food sector at all levels, from farmers, representatives of local authorities to business holders, academics, high level governments representatives etc but with a focus on its potential users in the field raising awareness on what the app is, its benefits, target audiences, and how to use it.
