Descripción

FAO works closely with the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) to achieve the shared goals of improved food security and nutrition, agriculture and food safety, land and water management issues, environmental protection, disaster risk management and sustainable development. To date, the partnership has produced numerous successful joint projects, including a regional food security and nutrition policy and action plan for the Caribbean sub-region, several national food security and nutrition policies a nd action plans, and a food security and nutrition information and early warning system for the CARICOM sub-region.
