Descripción

Inthisstudythecapacityofdesulfurizationinisolatedbacteriaofpetroleumenviron-mentwasevaluated,wereusedtheDBTinasulfur-freemineralmedium(SFMM).Twobacte-rialstrainswhichwerecultivated15days,thebacterialgrowthwasmeasuredandalsothecon-centrationofsulfateandsulfite.BothstrainsusedtheGlulikesourceofcarbonandenergyandtheDBTlikeonlysourceofcarbon.ThesulfatewasonlydetectedintheSFMMsupplementedwithGluandDBT/DMFoftheAE9.2-7strainandofthemixedculture,theliberationofsul-fateduringtherehearsalstoichiometricalamountdidn tgotothequantityofDBTthatitcandesulfurizetheAE9.2-7strain.SulfatewasnotdetectedinthecultureoftheBA4.4strain.Sul-fitewasnotprobablydetectedinonlyoftheculturesduetothechemistryoxidationfromthesameonetosulfate.ThisstudydemonstratedthatthebiodesulfurizationoftheDBTfortheAE9.2-7strain,wascarriedoutthroughthedirectoxidationofthethiophenicsulfuroftheDBTwayDBT-sulfonewiththeaccumulationofbenzoicacid,2-hydroxibiphenilandthesul-fateliberation
