Cuarto panel del segundo día del Evento Internacional sobre Agricultura Tropical Sustentable, integrado por especialistas de SENASICA, la Secretaría del Campo de Chiapas, el IICA y la CNOG. Los panelistas analizan la crisis epidemiológica del gusano barrenador del ganado, plaga que afecta a bovinos, fauna silvestre y animales de compañía como perros. Se evalúan soluciones integrales que van desde la curación estricta de heridas y partos hasta la puesta en marcha de la planta de producción de moscas estériles en Metapa. Finalmente, proponen un sistema de trazabilidad individual y la creación de un Centro Regional de Inteligencia Sanitaria para Mesoamérica.
