dc.descriptionIn response to the challenges faced by small-scale fisheries (SSF) and aquaculture in the region due to poor governance and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the overall objective of this project was to contribute to enhancing the regional governance for sustainable fisheries in the 34 members of the Western Central Atlantic Fishery Commission (WECAFC).Both components of this project contributed to the broader goal of fostering resilient and sustainable fisheries and aquaculture practices in the Western Central Atlantic region, while promoting awareness, innovation, intersectoral linkages and partnerships.
