The panel brought together leaders from finance, innovation, and policy to discuss the urgent transformations needed in the food system to feed a growing global population. Canada was positioned as a key player in leading sustainable protein development. Panelists highlighted that inclusive investment, gender equity, collaboration, and digital innovation are non-negotiable pillars for a future-ready food system. There was a shared urgency to move beyond pilot projects and into actionable, scalable models that serve both people and planet.
