This country report covers the overall situation of wood products in Rwanda. The first part is a description of the general state of the statistics in the country. It details what products are locally produced, imported and those exported. The second part defines the type of information collected at the national level as well as the methodologies used for the collection, analysis and dissemination process. The most important forest products are stated in this part (i.e. sawn timber, charcoal, and roundwood). The third part is an evaluation of the information collected followed by some suggestions as to how the process could be improved. Through the numerous tables, this country report provides information about national consumption, exports, imports, production, etc.
