Climate change poses a challenge to agricultural production in coastal Bangladesh, exacerbating vulnerabilities through rising sea levels, erratic precipitation, and saline intrusion, and threatening millions of farmers' livelihoods. In response, the Ministry of Agriculture of Bangladesh, with support from IFAD and FAO-TA, has implemented the Smallholder Agriculture Competitiveness Project (SACP). This study employs an inverse-probability-weighted-regression-adjustment (IPWRA) model to estimate the impacts of irrigation and flood management infrastructures on agricultural production, using data from ~3 000 households. Results show significant output increases due to these infrastructures and highlight the importance of complementary programmes in mitigating climate impacts.
