| dc.description | Monthly temperature and precipitation by state and farm production region are presented for the years 1950-86. A weighted average is used to aggregate data for the climatic divisions within the 48 contiguous states. Two alternative sets of weights are used: the divisions' geographic areas and their harvested cropland areas. | |
