This flyer gives a brief description of the status of the work to attain SDG 2, Zero Hunger, in the Asia Pacific region.
In this region, the fight against hunger has stalled and
even reversed in some areas. In fact, Asia and the
Pacific is home to a majority of the world's hungry
people - more than half-a-billion. While famine is no
longer a major issue for most countries, hunger takes
on other forms in the sense that the diets of millions
do not include enugh nutritents for them to lead a
healthy life.
