This brochure is part of a more general communication plan on the project entitled: "Improved agricultural monitoring systems through satellite imagery for Iran". The project's goal is to develop improved, innovative, up-to-date and complementary agriculture monitoring systems in Iran, enabling the integration of satellite remotely-sensed data. FAO aims to establish in the country a national and operational agriculture monitoring system that improves the quality of agriculture informat ion and reporting, based on geospatial technologies.
