This is one in a series of several factsheets about tje main activities of the AG Department. This factsheet in particular is about Sustainable Crop Production Intensification and illustrates the work AGP is doing in this area. </p><P>Sustainable crop production intensification (SCPI) aims to produce more from the same area of land while reducing negative environmental impacts, conserving natural resources and enhancing healthy ecosystem services. This eco-friendly approach to farming combines f armers’ traditional knowledge with modern technologies adapted to the needs of small-scale producers. </p>
