dc.descriptionParaguay is a member of FAO since 1948 and has a permanent Representation in the country since 2002 with the objective of strengthening and expanding the relationship with the Government. For more than 70 years, FAO assistance has been aimed at reducing rural poverty, supporting investments for rural development, comprehensive natural resource management, social and productive inclusion of indigenous communities and empowerment of rural women.
