This publication presents investment opportunities for young agri-entrepreneurs in value chains with a strong potential for youth investment, and in particularly relevant value chain segments. The opportunities have been developed through an inclusive process, engaging more than 100 young agri-entrepreneurs in the Gambia. Each project opportunity is presented for three different types of investors: solo-entrepreneurs, small enterprises with five employees without any external support, and small enterprises with five employees receiving external support (training and grants). The opportunities contained in this publication may be used by government agencies and financial partners to assess the soundness of potential investments to be supported, business coaches and advisers working with young agri-entrepreneurs, and more experienced young agri-entrepreneurs who are eager to explore business opportunities.
