dc.descriptionIt is becoming increasingly evident that to maintain the sustainability of irrigation schemes, effective farmer participation in operation and maitenace is essential. The consultation workshop was held to discuss the NIRP's planned strategy for farmer participation, the actual level of participation and to identify measures that NIRP should take in order to further strengthen farmer participation.
