In this paper simple equations for predicting delivered wood costs in Canada are developed. These equations are introduced in the North American Timber Assessment Market Model (NA -TAMM). Long-run trends in delivered wood costs are postulated to depend on the effects of the cut at the extensive margin and on technical progress in logging. Specification tests are carried out.
